Message from Director

Dr. Yogesh Katare: Dr. Yogesh Katare studied at Department of Pharmaceutical Sciences , Sagar University for his B. Pharm. (1996) and M. Pharm. in Pharmaceutics (1998). He studied the microenapsulation of biomolecules and their delivery for therapeutic uses and vaccination at National Institute of Immunology, New Delhi between 1999 to 2005 and was awarded Ph. D. by Jawaharlal Nehru University, New Delhi for his research work in 2006. He worked at Department of Chemical Engineering at University of California at Santa Barbara in USA (2006-2007) and in Department of Biological Sciences at University of Windsor in Canada (2007-2010) for his postdoctoral Research work. He was gold medalist in university merits of both B Pharm and M Pharm with 99.83 percentile in Graduate Aptitude Test in Engineering, has 13 publications in peer reviewed, high impact factor journals and he holds one US and two Indian patents. He was granted Ministry of Research and Innovation Postdoctoral Fellowship by Ontario Government Canada. He is recipient of IDMA GP Nair Award, Prof. ML Khorana Memeorial Award and UP Pharmacy Council Association’s award. He is available for research related guidance and motivation to all our students and is a constant source of help to our students.
